Dear members of our community.

We live in unprecedented times. You will be aware of the recent developments with the COVID 19 virus and recent government announcements and public health advice. We have been monitoring the situation carefully and our plan had been to continue as normal unless we received specific advice to the contrary. Today's announcement indicated that people should avoid non-essential travel and large gatherings, social contact and follow advice to stay 2 meters apart.

It is with great reluctance that we have taken the decision to suspend Forge Community Partnership activities for the foreseeable future. We need to protect members and their families and we need to ensure that people don’t take unnecessary risks.

This suspension will take place with immediate effect and involves all areas of activity.

  • The Rockingham Centre
  • Cloughfields Community Centre
  • Hoyland Common Community Centre

We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and stay in touch with members. We will contact members when we are in a position to resume activities The community and families that Forge Community Partnership has supported are of great importance and strong and this is simply a momentary pause whilst we manage a temporary situation with respect and sensitivity for everyone connected with the organisation. It has been very heart-warming to see that already members are reaching out to each other and we will support and protect each other.

Thank you for your continued support,

Neil Spencer
Chief Executive
Forge Community Partnership
